MARIA THE HEALER

“It is the adaptation of a text by María Sabina that I received at a time when I needed it very much. That text helped me remember my strength as a woman and the importance of being connected to earth and nature. To work to know myself better because self-knowledge is power and infinite possibilities. I understood that I am a medicine woman and that we all are. Like all human beings. If we approach nature and its healing powers, these begins to be felt and manifested. If we cultivate intuition, witness love, and are happy, we can also help others heal. ” - Natalia Laforcade.

  • Heal your pain my little girl with our sun’s light and the moon’s rays
Heal your pain my little one with the sound of the river, the waterfall and the foam
With the to-and-fro of the ocean that comes and goes, let it hold you
With the to-and-fro of the ocean that comes and goes, let it love you
Heal yourself my child with the leaves of mint and spearmint
Put love instead of sugar in your tea, drink it and look at the stars.

Heal your pain my little girl with our sun’s light and moon’s rays
Heal yourself my little one with the kisses that the wind blows on you
    the embraces of the rain
With the to-and-fro of the ocean that comes and goes, let it hold you
With the to-and-fro of the ocean that comes and goes, let it love you
Heal yourself my child with this very gentle love
Light the fire, offer your sorrows
So that they turn to dust and new flowers grow.

So that all your sorrows turn to dust, turn to dust
So that the fire burns them, the fire burns them and new flowers grow
So that all your sorrows turn to dust, turn to dust
So that the fire burns them, the fire burns them and new flowers grow.

Heal your pain my little girl with the heat of the sun and the cold of the moon
Sweeten the morning with the aromas of lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus
    so that calm enters in
With the to-and-fro of the ocean that comes and goes, let it hold you
With the to-and-fro of the ocean that comes and goes, let it love you
Heal yourself my child with this very gentle love, heed your intuition
Look at the whole world with the eye that you have on your forehead.

Heal yourself my child with this very gentle love
And always remember that you are the medicine
Heal yourself my child with this very gentle love
And always remember that you are the medicine.

So that all your sorrows turn to dust, turn to dust
So that the fire burns them, the fire burns them and new flowers grow
So that all your sorrows turn to dust, turn to dust
So that the fire burns them, the fire burns them and new flowers grow.
