“My nephew Nicolas left in 2021. His death was there in the immensity of the land of the mountains. Where there was field, trees, hummingbirds, rivers, birds dancing in circles, flowers, beauty. That day, the day mother earth is celebrated, was the day Nicholas set out on his flight to the afterlife. And now it's everywhere.

This song was dictated to me by him so that I could delivered it to his mother, my sister and all his loved ones. It is a hymn to life and a reminder of how finite it is and how important it is to take care of ourselves in the nest while remembering in rejoicing and happiness, those who are no longer here.” - Natalia Laforcade.
