In September 2024, Natalia Lafourcade was named the first Music Ambassador for Peace at the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates. This international recognition marked the beginning of a new chapter in her artistic and humanitarian legacy.

Founded in 2020 by Natalia Lafourcade, the Foundation turns the love of music into actions that create real change.
True transformation happens when we go deep—into the cultural roots that define us and into the social roots where we can heal and rebuild. Our mission is to preserve and promote Mexico’s traditional and popular music, transforming it into a living tool for social, educational, and cultural change.
Our vision is to become a benchmark in building an equitable, sustainable, and peaceful society, where music is synonymous with wellbeing, social cohesion, and harmony with the environment. By strengthening our roots, we inspire communities around the world to recognize that within their cultural origins lies the strength of their future.
